Gaining Ground: Morning Keynote

In 2013, five out of six Somerset ISD campuses were rated as “improvement required” by the state of Texas. Contrast this with the last state reporting of Accountability ratings in 2022, Somerset ISD is currently an A rated school district and exceeds state in all areas. Somerset ISD also ranks at the top of all Bexar County schools. 

The current accountability ratings for each campus are as follows:

  • Somerset Early Childhood- A

  • Somerset Elementary- A

  • Barrera Veterans Elementary- A

  • Savannah Heights Intermediate- B

  • Somerset Junior High-A

  • Somerset High School-B

  • Zacharias Early College HS- A

Somerset ISD earned 24 Distinctions!

The percentage of students who were college ready was at 39% in 2013 and is currently at 95%.

Our four year graduation rate in 2013 was at 80.5% and is currently at 95%.

In the morning keynote, Kriesti will focus on their collective journey to excellence in Somerset ISD. This includes sharing practical and relevant ways they approached our work to ensure both personal and organizational accountability and achieved increased results.
