Charter Leadership Institute with APSRC


Join us for the NEW and Improved Charter Leadership Institute!

Since our previous two operating grants have ended, we have learned that we have initial approval on a new Charter Leadership Institute grant. The program will begin with Day 1 on October 21st and conclude with Day 5 on March 6th.

Charter Leadership Institute is intended for all charter school Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, Principals, Assistant Principals, Special Education LEAs, and Curriculum Directors, as well as individuals in equivalent roles.

Please Note: Attendees are required to bring their laptops to fully engage in this event.

    • All APSRC departments deliver current content, deadlines, initiatives, and opportunities to the intended audience.

    • Clarity around all support services provided by APSRC

    • Provide awareness of state-released information and services 

    • Opportunities to understand the cohesive and interdependence among different departments at the charter level

    • Reinforce the department’s rules and regulations

    • Model strategies and protocol

    • 5 days periodically throughout the school year

    • 9:00-4:00 each day

    • Working lunch (provided)

    Stipend provided to participants that do the following:

    • Attending all 5 days

    • Remain with a charter the following school year

    • Implement content from CLI back in their buildings

    • Provide evidence that the implementation of content positively impacted the school culture and/or student achievement

    Topics will include Accountability, Tier 1 Instruction, Data Analysis, and Charter Support.

  • December 9th, 2024 I 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

    Topics will include State Data Requirements and Systems, Ethics, the Upcoming Legislative Session, Making Connections for Teachers to be Successful, and AI in Education.
