Annette Neely joined APSRC in July 2023 as a Literacy Specialist. Prior to coming to APSRC, Annette worked for the Watson Chapel School District for one year as an Assistant Principal at Coleman Elementary grades 4-6 and the last four years as the Principal of Edgewood Elementary grades K&1. Annette worked for the Sheridan School District as Sheridan Elementary School Principal for nine years and Sheridan Intermediate School Principal for 3 years. While Assistant Principal at Sheridan, Annette completed the Assistant Master Principal Institute through the Arkansas Leadership Academy. Annette began her teaching career with the Dollarway School District serving as a first-grade teacher where she was recognized as a Model Reading First Teacher. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, a Master of Education in Education Administration, and a Graduate Certificate in Reading/Literacy Coaching.
Annette resides in Herbine and enjoys spending time with her family, especially her two grandsons, River and Marsh.
