Starting a Charter

Starting a charter school can be one of the most challenging as well as one of the most rewarding experiences an individual, group or community can have. Charter schools make a difference, and the Arkansas charter school movement needs more motivated and visionary leaders to drive positive change in education.

The Arkansas Public School Resource Center has helped individuals and groups with innovative school programs develop into and thrive as high-quality charter schools, and we can do the same for you! APSRC can provide you and your team with the necessary skills and resources to make your concept a reality.

Due to the time commitment required during the charter school application process, APSRC has to limit the number of individuals allowed in the Charter Start-Up Program. If you are interested in developing a high-quality charter or want to expand your current organization to Arkansas, please email APSRC Director of Charter Development Tyler Barnett.
