NWEA Executive Vicki McCoy and APSRC Executive Director Scott Smith present KIPP Delta Schools CEO Scott Shirey with a $2,500 School Growth Award for the KIPP Delta College Preparatory School. KIPP Delta College Prep reports showed that 60-87 percent of their 5^th-8^th grade students made gains in mathematics that met or exceeded individual growth targets, putting their growth results well above national averages, with their 6^th grade growth comparable to that of the top 2-3 percent nationally.
